Job Title: Division Manager

Salary: $140-160k plus aggressive annual performance-based bonus

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Division Manager with proven managerial experience in mechanical contracting. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. The candidate should be knowledgeable about regulations, codes, and standards relevant to mechanical construction projects.

The candidate should have strong financial management skills, including budgeting, P&L analysis, and financial forecasting. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities are necessary, as the candidate will be responsible for motivating and inspiring teams. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential to achieving objectives.

The candidate should be proficient in project management software and the Microsoft Office suite. Desirable certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional) or CM-Lean (Lean Construction Certification).

Responsibilities:

– Manage the division’s operations and ensure profitability.
– Oversee preconstruction and construction processes.
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
– Create and execute divisional business plans.
– Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
– Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards.
– Motivate and inspire teams to achieve objectives.
– Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
– Use project management software and the Microsoft Office suite to manage projects.
– Obtain PMP or CM-Lean certifications to stay up-to-date with industry standards.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
